Help Us Make A Difference

Your Donation Helps Wildlife Preservation

Over the years, many people have asked how they can help support the animals at Libran Wildlife Reserve, so we thought it would be a good idea to create one place where anyone who wishes to contribute can do so.

Caring for wildlife is a commitment that never stops. There is always fresh meat to buy, veterinary care to fund, enclosures to maintain, repairs to carry out, enrichment to provide and improvements to make.

Whether you choose to give £2 or £200, every contribution makes a real difference. Your support helps us provide the very best life possible for the animals in our care, today and for many years to come.

Get To know The Residents
Libran Wildlife Reserve

Zeus is Libran Wildlife Reserve’s cheetah. And in human terms, he’s now an old aged pensioner!

While he still enjoys the occasional prowl around the reserve, Zeus has always preferred the simple things in life… a warm patch of sunshine and good company. You’ll often find him stretched out in the sun, or in the shade of the lemon tree, watching the world go by and making the most of a peaceful afternoon with his friends nearby.

Libran Wildlife Reserve - Zenda The Giraffe
Zenda is Libran Wildlife Reserve’s giraffe. She is six years old and was rescued at birth after being left by her mother.

She is one of the reserve’s most cherished residents. Visitors are captivated by her gentle nature, curious personality and towering presence. She spends her days exploring the reserve, supervising works and greeting guests… and serving as a powerful reminder of the beauty and importance of Africa’s wildlife.

Andrew is one of the tortoises at Libran Wildlife Reserve. And in human terms, and just like Zeus the Cheetah. he’s now an old aged pensioner! He claims to be more attractive than his cool cat cousin though!!!!!

Thembi is our beautiful white lioness, and Shia is an African lioness. They share an enclosure and, after more than a decade together, they’re about as close to sisters as two lions can be.
